Spring Onion Potato Sabzi Recipe
Spring Onion have a white fleshy root
bulb with light green leaves. The tiny white fleshy bulb has a long slender
green top, which is also edible. Spring onions have a slightly milder taste
than the regular onions which are delight to the taste buds.
Spring onions add great flavor and texture to stir fries,
salads, omelette, sandwiches, curries, soups and dressings. They may be cooked
or even used raw in salads. They are a
good source of fiber, aid digestion and have vitamin c.

potato sabzi is a very simple recipe but the flavor, texture and the taste is
wonderful. All you have to do is, cook potatoes, sauté spring onions, add some
seasoning and spices along with spring onions and the dish is ready. Serve
Spring Onion Potato Sabzi with all types of roti,paratha and puri.
Ingredients
- Potato-3 Medium size(chopped)
- Onion -1 cup(chopped)
- Garlic cloves-5-6chopped
- Green chilly-1(chopped)
- Cumin seeds-1 tsp.
- Tomato-1large(chopped)
- Spring Onion/Green onion-200gram(chopped)
- Turmeric Powder-1 tsp.
- Asafoetida(hing)-1/2tsp.
- Sabji Masala-1tsp.
- Garam Masala-1 tsp.
- Musterd Oil-3 tbsp.
- Salt-As Required
Method:
- Turn on the flame and heat a pan ,Add oil .Let the oil heat properly, Add cumin seeds, fry it for few seconds on medium flame, Add garlic, green chilly, onion, asafetida and fry it for 2 minutes on medium flame.
- Add potato fry it and cover the pan for 1 minute. On low flame.
- After one minute add turmeric powder and mix it .Now add spring onion,salt,sabji masala ,mix well and cover the pan for 5 minutes on low flame.
4.Add tomato and mix it.
- Cover the pan and cook it for2- 3 minute on low -medium flame.
- Open the lid and stir it.Now add garam masala and mix well properly for a minute.
- Turn off the flame, Take it out in a serving bowl. Ready to serve with roti or paratha.
