Paneer Recipe
Kadai Paneer is a great main dish for any special occasion.
Paneer and colorful bell peppers are sauteed in spicy tomato .Kadai Paneer is a
mouthwatering recipe made from paneer ,onions, tomatoes, capsicum and
traditional Indian spices. It is one of the most popular Indian curries and
cooked throughout the world.
This dish is easy to cook and served as most of the restaurants
and dhabas. Kadhai Paneer can be enjoyed with roti/chapati, plain paratha, naan
or flavored rice like Jeera rice or Pulao.
Today I am going to share dry kadai paneer recipe. . As its
name suggest, this curry is made from Paneer,capcicum,onion,tomato and some Indian
spices (masala). All the ingredients are available in almost all the grocery
stores.

Ingredients
- Paneer- 200 gm (cubed)
- Onions-2 Medium Sized(thinny sliced)
- Green Bell Pepper / Capsicum-1 Medium Sized(thinny sliced)
- Tomatoes-4Large(chopped)
- Green Chillies-2(thinny sliced)
- Ginger-2 inch grated
- Garlic-5-6 Cloves (grated)
- Kashmiri mirch powder( Red Chili Powder)- 2 Teaspoons
- Cumin Seeds(jeera)-1 tsp.
- Crushed Kasuri Methi (Dry Fenugreek Leaves)- 2 Teaspoon
- Salt- to taste
- Chopped Coriander-1/2 Cup
- Dry Red Chilly-1
- Musterd Oil-3Tbsp.
- Sabji Masala-2tsp.
- Garam Masala-1 tsp
- Cardamom Seeds-1/2 tsp.(crushed)
Method:
- Heat oil in a kadai (wok) or a pan. Add cumin seeds,dry red chilly, Finely chop Ginger, Garlic and Green chillies,kasuri methi to the pan and fry for a minute.
- Add chopped onion to the pan,Fry them for 2-3minutes on medium flame.
- Add chopped tomatoes to the pan. Cover the pan and cook for 4-5 minutes on low flame.
- Add capsicum,mix it and now add paneer,salt,Kashmiri mirch powder,sabji masala,garam masala, cardamom seeds(crushed) and mix properly and cover the pan for 5-6 minutes.
- Open the lid and mix well properly and turn off the flame, add coriander leaves to garnish. Kadai Paneer is ready, serve it hot with Roti or Naan
