Instant Bread Medu Vada

I made this instant Vada on my last tea party and my friends and kids loved these crunchy and tasty Vada. As soon as I placed snack for kids, they had it within no time. I surprised & quickly made new batch. Ah I am so happy that everyone enjoyed these instant snacks. Under 30 minutes you can make a tempting and tasty snack. This is absolutely crowd pleaser. A perfect starter for any party, get together or any small function. Do try it out this instant medu Vada……..

Ingredients.
 1.      6 bread slices
 2.      1/2 cup curd
 3.      ½ cup rice flour
 4.      ¼ cup suji
 5.      ½ tsp cumin
 6.      ½ onion, finely chopped
 7.      1 inch ginger, finely chopped
 8.      few coriander leaves, chopped
 9.      6-7 curry leaves
 10.   2 green chilies, chopped
 11.   salt to taste
 12. oil for deep frying      

Method for preparing.

1.      In a large mixing bowl take 6 slices of any bread and crumble them into small pieces.

2.      Add rice flour, rava, curd. Also add cumin seeds, onion, ginger, curry leaves, coriander leaves and salt.

3.      Mix all the ingredients and form soft dough. If you feel the dough is dry, you can add 1 to 2 tsp of curd to make it smooth dough.

4.      Now make a small ball and gently press to flatten. Then slowly create a hole in the center like you prepare in medu Vada. 


5.      Deep fry the vadas slowly on medium flame.

6.      Fry on both sides till they turn golden brown. Drain on paper towel to remove excess oil.


7.      Serve hot vada with chutney or sambar.
