Sweet Pua(Sweet Poori) Recipe
Sweet pua is a sweet indian dish.This is a
very simple and easy recipe made by using few ingreadiants and easy to make in
less time.Kids at home are very fond of Sweet Pua. It tastes like sweet
biscuits. So make your kids happy by
preparing Sweet Pua for them.
Pua is a special food item prepared on the festival or
Pooja.This recipe basically hails from U.P.
You can prepare this recipe with just 3 or 4 ingrediants. It is a deep fried Indian sweet.My sister shared this recipe with me.
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour- 250 gms.
- All Purpose Flour(Maida)-150 gm.
- Sooji(Rava)-100 gm.
- Ghee-3 tbsp.
- Sugar - 250 gms.
- Milk - 150 gms.
- Oil- to fry.

- · Make fine powder of sugar.
- Add wheat flour,all purpose flour,sooji,ghee.and sugar and mix well properly and knead the smooth dough by adding milk.Leave the dough to set for half an hour.
- Divide the dough into medium pieces about 5-6.Make balls of the dough and roll them . Before rolling out Poori grease rolling pin and surface with a teaspoon of cooking oil.Take one ball and roll it into thick circle,now cut out a round shape with the help of steel glass. then we get 6-7 poori in round shape as shown below.or you can also make these poori by using rolling pin. But the size of the puri should be small to medium. Make sure not to roll it out too thin or thick.
- Heat Ghee into the pan and put the Pooris into the pan. Fry the Pooris until they thrive and turn pink. Take them out on a plate and fry the rest in the same manner.
- Sweet Pooris are prepared. Serve them .
