Coconut Burfi Recipe

Coconut Burfi Recipe   Coconut Burfi is my hubbys fav and my mother in law is an expert in making this. To me she makes the best coconut burfis - perfect in texture and shape too. I wanted to try this simple and tasty sweet with easy to get ingredients too. Ingredients for coconut burfi. 1.       Coconut grated – 100 gram 2.       Sugar – 200 gram  3.       Water - 1/4 cup 4.       Khoya-100 gram 5.       Cashews broken - 1 tbsp 6.       Ghee - 2 tsp 7.       Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp [optional] Method for preparing coconut burfi . 1.       Add little ghee, roast the broken cashews till golden brown and keep aside. Crispy Chikki (Peanuts and Til ki chikki) Chikki is a healthy, delicious traditional candy made from dry fruits, coconut, and sugar. It can be eaten alone or with snacks and is a perfect replacement for chocolates. This recipe uses sugar to make crispier chikkis in easier way. Ingredients (Peanuts Chikki)   1.       Peanuts-100gram 2.       Sugar-200 gram 3.       Til-50 gram 4.       Ghee-2 tbsp. How to prepare it. 1.       Roast Peanuts in a pan on medium flame for 4-5 minutes. Stir constantly to prevent burning. Let roasted peanuts cool for 3-4 minutes.
