Sooji Ki Poori Recipe
Sooji ki poori is a perfect breakfast
recipe which tastes super delicious. During a special occasion,we also can make
this poori. You can pack them for picnic or pack them when travelling.You will
like them for sure.

Ingredients
·
Sooji/Rava-1 Cup
·
Curd-1 Cup
·
Fenugreek Leaves(methi)-1/2 cup(chopped)
·
Coriander Leaves-1/2 cup
·
Cumin seeds-1 tsp.
·
Ginger-1 tsp.(Grated)
·
Green Chilly-1(chopped)
·
Turmeric Powder-1/2 tsp.
·
Salt-To Taste
·
Oil-To Deep Fry
Method:
·
In a mixing bowl add Rava,All purpose flour,
chopped green chilly,ginger,cumin seeds, fenugreek leaves(chopped),turmeric
powder,corriendr leaves,salt and curd and mix properly.
·
Add water (if required) and make stiff and soft
dough as shown.
·
Cover the lid and rest it for 20 minutes.
·
Take a dough ball ,with your palms slightly
flatten and apply oil to it on both side.
·
Gently roll to a small or medium sized poori or
circles which is neither too thin nor thick.You can roll the poori and fry it
simultaneously or placed the rolled poories in a plate and later fry them .do
cover with a clean kitchen towel ,so that they do not dry up.

Heat oil in a deep frying pan or kadai.
·
When the oil is sufficiently hot then add one
poori at a time.
·
The poori will rise gradually on top and begin
puffing up.gently nudge with the slotted spoon so that the poori puffs up very
well.
·
Once the oil has stopped sizzling ,gently flip
the poori and fry the other side .
·
Once both sides are crisp,golden and fried
well,remove the poori with a slotted spoon.drain on kitchen paper towels.
·
Serve poori hot with tea,pickle or any curry.
