Methi is also known as fenugreek. Fenugreek is a small green herb,found in winters. Fenugreek leaves is very healthy for us. Fenugreek leaves help in weight loss,reduce dullness,and very effective in diabetes. We can make them a part of our diet in any way. And in winter season fenugreek leaves are easily available in market.
Let’s try hot fenugreek leaves parathas.



Ingredients


·        Fenugreek Leaves/Methi-1 cup (chopped)
·        Wheat Flour(atta)-200 gram(2 cup)
·        Gram flour/Besan-50 gram(1/2 cup)
·        Ajwain/Carom seeds-1/2 tsp.
·        Ginger-1tsp.(grated)
·        Salt-1 tsp.(to taste)
·        Water-1 cup(for kneading)
·        Oil-2-3 tbsp.(for frying parathas)













Method:

·        In a mixing bowl or plate add wheat flour,besan ,salt,ajwain,ginger,fenugreek leaves(chopped) and mix well properly. Then with the help of water make a soft dough.
                
  
  
·        Cover and keep aside for 15-20 min.
·        Make a small ball of dough. Roll this ball in round 4”-5” in diameter, rub oil and fold twice. Again rub oil and fold into a triangle. Roll this into a triangular paratha with the help of flour.
 
     


       
·        Heat the tava,Put this paratha on tava.Apply oil on both sides and fry till it turns brown, turning regularly. Remove from tava,place on a casserole when cool. Make all parathas this way.
  
·        Serve hot parathas with curry,chutney,pickle or tea.
