Chilly Pakora Recipe
This Recipe is
basically a deep fried Indian snack made with Boiled Potatoes, Gram Flour and
Spices.

can be prepared at home without any intensive preparation required. Here is a
recipe on how to make Chilly Pakora with step-by-step procedure and images.
Ingredients:
- Potatoes –(4-5)boiled and peeled
- Green chilly-4-5( long)
- Besan (gram flour)-1 Cup
- Green chillies chopped-2-3
- Garlic ginger paste-6-7( garlic cloves), 1 inch ginger
- Red chilli powder--1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
- Cumin powder-1/2 tsp
- Dried mango powder-1/4 tsp
- Asafotida(hing)-a pinch
- Coriander thinly chopped-2 tbsp
- Baking Soda-a pinch
- Salt- to taste
- Oil- for frying
Method:
· Wash the green chillies then slit the green chillies and remove the seeds.

Mash the boiled potatoes in a bowl and add salt,
ginger garlic paste, green chilies, spices and chopped coriander. And mix well
properly.
- Stuff one spoon of this mixture into the green chillies.
- To make the batter, add gram flour in a bowl and add salt,red chilly powder,salt,baking soda,turmeric powder and add water and make a thick mixture.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
- Dip the stuffed green chilies in the gram flour batter and deep-fry until golden brown.
- Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.
